We are doing something fun every day this week to celebrate our anniversary week, but today in particular is extra special. Today is 3 years to the DAY that Barrel Chest opened it's doors! We are flattered, humbled, and so very grateful for all the customers, many I now count as friends, that have made this store successful.
Before I get all teary-eyed lets get to these 3 new beers we brewed just for this occasion:
-Password is Peaches-Our very strange Password is Password sour belgian IPA that we made even more delightfully strange. We refermented it with a funky brettanomyces yeast, aged it on peaches, then dry hopped in the keg with Hallertau Blanc.
-PinkNod-Our WinkNod sour flanders red made with our house sour culture that we aged in the barrel with cherries and strawberries.
-Entire Double Barrel-A blend of maple syrup rye whiskey barrel aged and bourbon barrel aged Imperial Stout.
(These are in small quantities so we are unable to fill growlers.)
Also, thank you for the big first day response to Barrel Fest tickets today!! Early bird Swag Bag tickets were gone fast but plenty of general tickets are still available.
